Abstract
U ovom radu obrađena je tema kirurškog liječenja rascjepa usne i nepca prikazom slučaja muškog djeteta. Rad predstavlja osnovne informacije o rascjepu usne i nepca: anatomski i statistički podaci, pregled vrsta malformacija i načina liječenja. U sklopu detaljnog prikaza samog slučaja, rad objašnjava anamnezu i dijagnozu pacijenta u kombinaciji prikaza svih potrebnih protokola operacije s aspekta rada medicinske sestre instrumentarke. Zaključak sumira sva potrebna znanja i vještine koje je potrebno posjedovati kako bi medicinska sestra instrumentarka mogla kvalitetno obavljati svoju funkciju prilikom operacije ovog tipa.
